Danaos Corporation Announces Date for the Release of Third Quarter 2007 Results, Dividend Declaration, Conference Call and Webcast

ATHENS, GREECE--(Marketwire - October 17, 2007) - Danaos Corporation (NYSE: DAC) today announced that it will release its results for third quarter and nine months period ended September 30, 2007 after the close of the market in New York on Thursday, October 25, 2007.

The declaration of the Company's dividend for the third quarter of 2007 will also be announced at that time.

On Friday, October 26, 2007 at 12:00 P.M. EDT, the Company's management will host a conference call to discuss the results.
