Industry Veteran Dr. David Baker Joins ODM as Executive Vice President of Engineering

PALO ALTO, CA--(Marketwire - October 22, 2007) - ON DEMAND Microelectronics (ODM) today
announced that Dr. David Baker has joined the company as Executive Vice
President. As a seasoned architect of multimedia processors and products,
Dr. Baker brings a great deal of technical expertise and market knowledge
to complement ODM's management team.
David Baker has had a distinguished career with over 30 years of
semiconductor and systems experience, including executive roles at Legerity
(ZL), SigmaTel (SGTL), BOPS (ALTR), Equator (PXLW) and Brooktree (CNXT).
His background includes 15 years at IBM in research and development roles,
as well as product development and deployment experience at Texas
Instruments and Compaq. His areas of expertise include hardware and
software product development in processors, PC graphics, audio, video,
imaging and digital TV. At SigmaTel, he led the engineering team
responsible for delivering next generation portable audio controllers for
the MP3 player market.

complementary areas to ODM's rapidly growing patent portfolio of more than
20.
Dr. Baker received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Texas
at Austin.
