Chinet plates and bowls from packaging specialists Huhtamaki are now available in Europe with a fresh new design - 'Duet' - which features alternate flashes of green and blue.
Chinet plates are ideal for hot and cold buffets as well as for complete meals. They provide a light, single-use, hygienic tableware solution, which not only makes self-service easy, but benefits chefs by being oven and microwave safe up to 180ºC. All Chinet products have food contact approval certification.
The introduction of 'Duet' offers a trendy new design to enhance food presentation. Alternatively, caterers can take advantage of Huhtamaki's unique printing opportunities and launch new concepts or feature a company name, slogan, image or logo to provide customers with up-to-date information.
Sustainably manufactured - durable in use
Chinet plates and bowls are manufactured from paper cup cuttings that have been recovered from Huhtamaki's own facilities. Fibers for Chinet products come from well-managed forests and the raw material has the Forestry Stewardship Council's (FSC) chain of custody certification. Chinet is also certified for compostability in accordance with EN13432, the European norm for the compostability of packaging. This means that Chinet products degrade completely in industrial composting facilities.
Available in a variety of shapes and sizes, there are several Chinet products to choose from. The 'Compartment Plate' is ideal for buffet service as it allows customers to choose whatever they fancy whilst keeping tastes separate on their plate. Alternatively it can be used to serve nibbles and dips at the bar or table.
Chinet allows for an improved, safer working environment as products are lighter and unbreakable. In addition, there is improved customer comfort as Chinet is less noisy than crockery alternatives.
If you are after additional products to enhance your catering service, other environmentally-friendly products such as BioWare tumblers and containers are ideal.
