BOCA RATON, FL--(Marketwire - October 25, 2007) - Airspan Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ : AIRN ), a
leading worldwide provider of WiMAX and Wi-Fi based broadband wireless
access networks, today announced its participation in the WiMAX Forum®
fourth public Mobile WiMAX™ PlugFest that took place in Taipei, Taiwan.
Airspan successfully demonstrated interoperability against products from
other companies with its HiperMAX Mobile base stations along with its award

band used.
"Airspan actively supports initiatives between WiMAX suppliers to achieve
standards that will best serve our customers and the overall industry. We
have a comprehensive range of Mobile WiMAX solutions which are fully
compatible with products from other vendors. As a WiMAX industry leader,
Airspan has been an active proponent of the WiMAX forum from its inception
and we are pleased to see the high level of interoperability between
vendors," commented Paul Senior, Airspan's CTO and a Charter Board member
of the WiMAX Forum.
Airspan has attended all of the WiMAX Forum public fixed and mobile
PlugFests to date and has previously announced its intention to seek
