Ministers in Netherlands protect state secrets with Sectra's new Tiger service

The Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations of the Netherlands has chosen
Sectra's new Tiger service for safeguarding voice communications between
ministers, undersecretaries and other senior officials. The Ministry has signed
a four-year contract and the order value amounts to EUR 2 million.

The new service offered by Sectra comprises Tiger products for secure mobile and
fixed voice communications, operation and security administration of these as
well as support and customized training for end-users. The Tiger system also
provides the possibility of encrypted data transmission and fax.

“The Tiger service represents an enhanced offering to our customers and deepens
our cooperation on the government authorities market in the Netherlands. We are
being entrusted to provide a service that meets the high demands placed by the
Ministry on security, user-friendliness and availability,” says Jan-Olof Brüer,

The Tiger service is available to ministries and authorities of the Netherlands.
The number of subscribers can be easily increased as needed. 

Tiger XS - secure government communications
Ministers, undersecretaries and senior officials in the Netherlands will use
Tiger XS to protect state secrets. Tiger products are used by government
authorities and defense department customers in half of the 27 EU member states.
Since 2004 Sectra has framework agreements with government authorities and the
defense department in the Netherlands for delivery of encryption products for
secure voice communications.
