Selectica Announces General Availability of Contract Analytics Module -- and First Customer
Alegent Health Implements Selectica Contract Performance Analytics to Analyze and Leverage Data Previously Hidden in Contracts
| Source: Selectica
SAN JOSE, CA--(Marketwire - November 12, 2007) - Selectica,
Inc. (NASDAQ : SLTC ), a leading provider of enterprise contract
lifecycle management and sales configuration solutions, today announced
general availability of Selectica
Contract Performance Analytics, a new multidimensional reporting and
analytics module for Selectica Contract Performance Management.
Selectica also announced that the first company to implement the module is
Alegent Health, the largest not-for-profit, faith-based health system in
Nebraska and southwestern Iowa and a design partner that helped Selectica
refine the Contract Analytics Module. Alegent Health will rely on Selectica
Contract Performance Analytics to access data previously hidden in
contracts, automatically generate granular reports across multiple business
operations, and gain the process visibility they need to fine-tune
operations, enterprise-wide.
"With Selectica Contract Performance Analytics," said Angie Peters, Alegent
Health's manager of legal/compliance services, "we can leverage data stored
in the repository of Selectica Contract Performance Management, our
contract management solution. This enables us to cross-report on multiple
business processes, across any of our more than 30 corporate entities. For
example, we can now compare contract-based spend on physician relationships
by facility, or create reports containing the specific data auditors
require across multiple contracts, and multiple business processes. In the
past creating complex reports like these would have demanded that we first
create separate reports, then manually remove whatever information was not
required, and then assemble the final report -- a process that could take
scores of man hours; with the Selectica module we can create these reports
in minutes."
Selectica Contract Performance Analytics is available for all users of
Selectica Contract Performance Management, a leading enterprise lifecycle
contract management solution that is renowned for its ability to
effectively author, manage, and report on any type of contract. With Selectica
Contract Analytics customers now have the added capability to quickly and
easily identify sources of revenue leakage, expose potentially costly
risks, increase sales forecasting accuracy, speed sales cycles, and
optimize business processes.
"Selectica Contract Performance Analytics opens new horizons for our
current and future customers," said Jason Stern, Vice President of
Products, Contract Management Solutions for Selectica. "The solution
features built-in and easily adaptable functionality that lets any business
user run, tailor, and create the highly customized multidimensional reports
they need -- with just one day of training. The result is an unprecedented
ability to mine contract data in a way that exposes its true value and
extend this value throughout a wide range of enterprise-wide business
processes."
