WHAT: Canyon Acres Children and Family Services and Friends of
Canyon Acres (FOCAS) will host a series of events and
programs between now and the end of the year to make the
holidays a special time for the children they serve.
Activities include:
Children's Christmas Party: FOCAS will use funds from its
recent fashion show to host a Christmas party in the
children's honor, with dinner, presents and a visit from
Santa. The event will take place December 19th at the Yorba
Linda Country Club.
Toy Drive: The local community can enjoy playing Santa this
year too -- the children created their own Christmas lists
for Canyon Acres' annual toy drive. Interested donors can

obtain a copy. Gift cards are also appreciated.
Carols, Cookies and Tree Trimming: Volunteers will also sing
carols, bake cookies, and trim the holiday tree with
children at the Ranch.
WHO: Canyon Acres Children and Family Services is the only
facility in Orange County or the surrounding counties
serving the most severely abused and emotionally troubled
children between the ages of 6-17. Since 1980, Canyon Acres
has been providing the highest level of care, therapeutic
treatment and most importantly a home, to children
throughout Southern California who suffer from a variety of
emotional and psychological disorders. Canyon Acres gives
children nurturing, treatment, and opportunities that they
need to grow up in safe, loving, and stable families.
