This week a business information line called TeleTell was launched in Romania by AS Ekspress Hotline, part of the Ekspress Group and owner of Estonia's biggest info line 1182. The TeleTell Infoline is based in Bucharest, with calls taken in Brasov. At present, 31 people are employed by the company - 10 of whom are trained telephone service assistants, with 15 sales representatives. The amount invested in the launch of the Romanian line this year is 6.53 million kroons (417,000 euros), with a loss by the end of the year of 2.74 million kroons (175,000 euros). For 2008, a turnover of almost a million euros is planned in Romania, ending the year in profit. Founded in 1993, Ekspress Hotline is Estonia's leading information media company, its main outlets being the 1182 info line and www.1182.ee website. Ekspress Hotline provides information about companies and agencies, as well as the contact details of individuals. Its subsidiaries are Kõnekeskuse AS, Ekspresskataloogide AS, Numbriinfo AS and Infoatlas AS. Ekspress Hotline's turnover in 2006 was 60.8 million kroons, with a profit of 10.6 million kroons.
