ANNOUNCEMENT UNDER THE SECURITIES MARKET ACT, CHAPTER 2,                        
SECTION 10                                                                      

We hereby announce that Ixonos Plc has been notified, in accordance with Chapter
2, Section 9 of the Finnish Securities Market Act, of a change in the company's
ownership:                                                                      

Osuuspankkikeskus Osk (”OPK”) has on 5 December, 2007 informed Ixonos that the  
combined ownership of the investment funds managed by OPK's subsidiaries has    
fallen under the 5% limit because of an increase in the company's share capital.

Altogether, OPK and the entities it controls own 437,610 shares in Ixonos,      
corresponding to 4.92% of Ixonos's shares and votes.                            

Ixonos has one share series. The company's share capital is EUR 355,485.20, and 
the total number of shares is 8,887,130.
