TGS-NOPEC Geophysical Company ASA(`TGS`) announced today a Cooperation Agreement with WesternGeco involving the previously announced mcWAZ multi-client wide-azimuth 3D survey in the Mississippi Canyon and Atwater Valley areas of the Gulf of Mexico. TGS and WesternGeco will equally share revenues and costs associated with the project. The first phase of mcWAZ will cover approximately 650 OCS blocks (~15,000 square kilometers). WesternGeco will perform the data acquisition and processing utilizing its advanced Q technology and TGS will be responsible for sales of the program. Acquisition is scheduled to commence in February 2008 .
