Hearst Magazines Digital Media Presents Original Women's Programming on NEXT.TV(TM) and HP Consumer Notebooks

Original Video Content From Hearst Brands Including Marie Claire's Beauty Boot Camp and CosmoGIRL! Spy to Be Available on Revolutionary New Internet TV Service; Users Can Watch Shows Almost Anywhere With a Broadband Internet Connection


LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - December 11, 2007) - NEXT.TV™, the revolutionary new Internet television service debuting on HP consumer notebooks, today announced the addition of Hearst Magazines Digital Media as a NEXT.TV channel partner bringing original video programming from its magazine brands including CosmoGIRL!, Good Housekeeping, and Marie Claire. Hearst Magazines, a unit of Hearst Corporation, is one of the world's largest publishers of monthly magazines with 19 U.S. titles and nearly 200 international editions.

The NEXT.TV service will initially be available via a web update on HP consumer notebooks that have been shipping with Microsoft Windows Vista since January 2007. HP notebook users can access NEXT.TV through HP QuickPlay™, allowing them to watch hundreds of television and video programs with on-demand Internet television channels. As many HP consumer notebooks can be connected to TVs through an S-Video or HDMI connection, these users can bring the NEXT.TV experience into the living room. With the provided remote control, NEXT.TV content can be enjoyed from up to 10 feet away, adding a new dimension to the Internet viewing experience.
