Brekeke Releases New Version of Brekeke PBX With .Net Control Option

This Significant Upgrade of Brekeke's IP-PBX Software Product Includes the Option to Use the PBX Active Library for Creating Applications Using Microsoft .Net

SAN MATEO, CA--(Marketwire - December 13, 2007) - Brekeke Software, Inc., an emerging leader in voice and data communications technology, today announced the release of Version 2.1 of its Brekeke PBX, an award-winning SIP IP-PBX server software product known for its reliability and customizability. Brekeke PBX version 2.1 offers an option to use the Brekeke PBX Active Library (PAL), a Windows Control Library for creating call center applications.

"I can say with confidence that this release makes Brekeke PBX fully capable of integration with call centers," said Shin Yamade, CEO of Brekeke Software. "Every call center has its own specific requirements that cannot be met with 'out of the box' solutions. Using Brekeke PBX Active Library along with Brekeke PBX, developers can create call center applications that will meet their clients' unique needs and requirements, and customers can rely on our high-performance IP-PBX as their IP communications backbone."

Brekeke PBX is recognized in the industry as a pioneer in the area of open standards IP-PBX products. Brekeke PBX offers various application program interfaces (such as JTAPI and Web Services) which allow developers to create the most flexible and optimal applications for their requirements. For this upgrade, it is notable that the bundled SIP Server has also been updated in this release to provide even greater call routing flexibility. Brekeke PAL allows applications to initiate calls, receive and display line status, transfer and conference calls, monitor and record conversations, and park and retrieve calls. Application development with Brekeke PAL is simple using Visual Basic .NET or other Microsoft .Net languages. Some common applications created with Brekeke PAL are Operator Consoles, Speed Dial Panels, Phone Call Recorders, and Line Status Panels, etc.

Brekeke PBX is offered in two editions, Basic and Pro. Brekeke PAL is offered as an add-on to the Brekeke PBX server license. The cost to add the Brekeke PAL option is US$300.00 per Brekeke PBX license. Client applications developed with the Brekeke PAL may be distributed royalty-free. Supported operating systems are Microsoft Windows and Red Hat Linux. Brekeke PAL clients run on Windows. Downloads of Brekeke PBX reached 45,000 this fall.
