Topdanmark reduces its holding of own shares

Topdanmark now holds own shares representing 9.28% of the share capital as
opposed to the 10.00% previously reported in announcement No. 22/2007 published
on 20 September 2007. This is a reduction in the holding of own shares to
1,635,639 shares from the 1,845,190 previously reported. 

At an extraordinary general meeting on 13 December it was decided to reduce the
share capital by 751,00 of these 1,635,639 own shares and they are expected to
be cancelled on the expiry of the three-month time limit for filing objections
on 17 March 2008. 

To date in 2007 Topdanmark has bought back own shares of DKK 2,000m of the
previously announced share buy-back programme of DKK 2,000m for 2007.
