On December 21, 2007 , Capital Research and Management Company Los Angeles,
USA has informed us according to Article 21, Section 1 of the WpHG that via
shares its Voting Rights on E.ON AG, Düsseldorf, Deutschland, ISIN:
DE0007614406, WKN: 761440, have exceeded the 5% limit of the Voting Rights
on December 13, 2007  and now amount to 5.06% (this corresponds to 33743064
Voting Rights).
5.06% of all voting rights in E.ON AG (voting rights arising from 33743064
ordinary shares) were attributed to Capital Research and Management Company
pursuant to section 22(1) sent. 1 no. 6 WpHG.
