Callers should keep in mind that the destination is limited to the driver's
residence. Reservations are not accepted. Drivers can expect to pay the
rate charged by the tow truck contractor for rides farther than ten miles.
"Texas generally leads the nation in the number of people killed as a
result of drinking and driving," said AAA Texas spokesperson Rose Rougeau.
"To help keep our roadways safe, we recommend motorists have a designated
driver. If that is not possible, we suggest motorists use our Tipsy Tow
service."
Tipsy Tow is a public service offered by AAA Texas throughout the state of
Texas.
