LAS VEGAS, NV--(Marketwire - January 16, 2008) -
Who: Shannon Noll, one of Australia's most successful musical performers,
will play a live, interactive concert at DeepRockDrive
(www.DeepRockDrive.com) to a paying global audience on the broadband
Internet. Noll just released his third album, "Turn It Up." After two
multi-platinum selling albums, eleven consecutive top ten singles, 4 ARIA
nominations, five ARIA #1 Chart Awards and three consecutive MTV VMAs for
Best Male Artist, Shannon's career is red hot. Noll first came to
prominence as runner-up of the first series of Australian Idol, which led
to him being signed to Sony BMG. Since then, he has had more success than
any other Idol contestant to date.
What: Noll will be giving two LIVE performances at DeepRockDrive studios in
Las Vegas. DeepRockDrive (www.DeepRockDrive.com) is a revolutionary
platform that allows any artist to perform a fully interactive concert to a
global audience. DeepRockDrive's professionally produced, high-definition,
multi-stream shows combine a level of live video and audio quality never
before experienced on the Internet, with unprecedented social interaction
between performers and fans inside a live concert environment. The service
immerses fans in a live interactive concert environment, where they vote
together to control the song selection, interact with the performers and
watch fully customized shows by personally mixing the five high-definition
cameras used during the performance on the fly.
The performance highlights how DeepRockDrive offers any artist, from local
Indie performers to global superstars, a newfound ability to reach a
worldwide base of fans. The interactive online performances are lucrative
for the artists and provide an unprecedented promotional platform. The
interactive concert is priced at $6.99, which is split 50-50 with the
artist. DeepRockDrive launched at the 2008 International Consumer
Electronics Show (CES). It is the brainchild of Danny Socolof, who
architected the blockbuster deal announced on January 14, 2008 between
Pepsi and Amazon.com (as well as the 2003 deal between Pepsi and iTunes)
and ex-Microsoft Xbox executive producer Jeff Henshaw.
When:
