EncounterCare Subsidiary, Building Blocks, Expands Business and Announces Contract for Pediatric Home Nursing Services in Northern California

PALM BEACH GARDENS, FL--(Marketwire - January 17, 2008) - EncounterCare Solutions, Inc.
(PINKSHEETS : ECSL ), an integrated healthcare company focused on the health
information technology, telemedicine, and homecare markets, announced today
that its wholly owned subsidiary, Building Blocks Pediatric Home Health
Services has signed a contract with Kaiser Permanente for Building Blocks
to provide the nursing care needs for pediatric patients discharged from
Kaiser Permanente's facilities who need nursing services at home. With
this agreement Building Blocks is expanding into the Oakland, Pleasanton
and San Francisco regions of California, which will allow it to adequately
service the Kaiser Contract.
In announcing the agreement, Ronald Mills, Sr., President and CEO of

plan, with its Northern California expansion being the first of four new
service centers that are planned for 2008. New service center locations
are expected to include the San Diego, San Jose, as well as its first
out-of-state location in Columbia, South Carolina. Building Blocks has
been very active in expanding its sales efforts over the last six months
and we expect to have additional key agreements that we can announce in the
near future."
