EncounterCare Subsidiary, Building Blocks, Expands Business and Announces Contract for Pediatric Home Nursing Services in Northern California


PALM BEACH GARDENS, FL--(Marketwire - January 17, 2008) - EncounterCare Solutions, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: ECSL), an integrated healthcare company focused on the health information technology, telemedicine, and homecare markets, announced today that its wholly owned subsidiary, Building Blocks Pediatric Home Health Services has signed a contract with Kaiser Permanente for Building Blocks to provide the nursing care needs for pediatric patients discharged from Kaiser Permanente's facilities who need nursing services at home. With this agreement Building Blocks is expanding into the Oakland, Pleasanton and San Francisco regions of California, which will allow it to adequately service the Kaiser Contract.
