AQS Helps Deliver Automation, Speed to Market, and Enhanced Distribution
HARTLAND, WI--(Marketwire - January 22, 2008) - AQS, Inc., a provider of policy administration
systems for commercial property/casualty insurance, announces that Capital
Insurance Group (CIG) of Monterey, California, went into production on its
AQS/advantage™ system on December 18, 2007. CIG went live with six
specialty lines in four states -- California, Oregon, Arizona, and Nevada.
Washington will follow, in addition to commercial ISO lines of business.
"We needed to automate our manual and specialty lines," said Robert Winn,
CIG's VP of Underwriting and Field Operations. "We had an existing
relationship with AQS. But we evaluated multiple vendors in looking to
upgrade. The improvements AQS has made since we first began working with
them -- and the relationship we have with our AQS account manager -- were
the deciding factors. The system is great, and AQS has always delivered
for us."
The increased automation provided by AQS enables CIG to automate all
transactions on their growing lines of business, to scale with that growth,
to extend quoting and binding functionality and authority to agents and
MGAs, and to provide streamlined workflows via the Internet.
"We're pleased to continue our successful relationship with CIG," said Dave
Kerford, CEO at AQS. "It's great that CIG had the confidence in us to
select us again as they launched the evolution of their business and market
objectives. The fact that we've helped to expand and extend the reach of
their distribution channels and improved their speed to market is a
meaningful win for both companies."
