Aqua Bio Technology ASA (ABT) is experiencing rapidly increasing interest for the Company's products on the international market. The Company's CEO, Mr. Einar Vangsnes, has therefore proposed to the Board that he shall be replaced as CEO of the Company in order to concentrate his efforts within international sales and marketing activities.
The Board has therefore named Mr. Arild R. Rasmussen (59 yrs) as new CEO of ABT effective from February 1st.
Mr. Rasmussen has broad previous experience as CEO of Bolaks AS and as chairman and board member of many companies within aquaculture and aquaculture related activities, and from management positions in the public sector. He was one of the initiators of Aqua Bio Technology AS, Bergen, and has been Managing Director of this company until the merger between ABT and Kilda Biolink AS.
Mr. Vangsnes will from the same time assume the position as Vice President with responsibilities for global marketing and sales activities.
The Board is of the opinion that the change will substantially improve the Company's ability to utilize their sales potential.
