"Giving back and helping those in need is something that was instilled within me when I was very young and continues to be an important part of my life today," Guedry said. "It's an honor and a privilege to serve on the boards of what many consider to be two of the most prominent and highly regarded nonprofit agencies in southern Nevada. These organizations are doing phenomenal work with the intellectually disabled and disadvantaged women and children in our community."

Opportunity Village, founded in 1954, is a not-for-profit organization that serves people with intellectual disabilities by providing them with vocational training, employment and social recreation services that make their lives more productive and interesting.
