vwd AG is fully taking over Tijd Nederland B.V.:

- vwd group will be one of the leading European providers of financial
  market data
- Strategic acquisition gives vwd AG an excellent market position

Frankfurt am Main, Germany, 15 February 2008. vwd Vereinigte
Wirtschaftsdienste AG (Regulated Market Frankfurt, General Standard, ISIN:
DE0005204705) is taking over the Netherlands enterprise Tijd Nederland B.V.
(TBM) in Amsterdam from the Belgian media group Mediafin retroactively as
of 1 January 2008 to become one of the leading European providers of
financial market data. For the full takeover a purchase price of approx.
EUR 7 million has been agreed.

Tijd Nederland B.V., with its subsidiary companies Tijd Beursmedia NV
(Belgium) and Trustmedia NL B.V. (Netherlands), is a provider of data on
the financial markets with a strong market position in the Benelux
countries. The new companys range of products and marketing and sales
territory perfectly complement those of the vwd group. In the future it
will be possible to offer the around 7,000 customers of Tijd Nederland B.V
the full product and service range of the vwd group. With the takeover vwd
AG is continuing its European expansion strategy, and as well as its
activities in the Netherlands it is also expanding its business in the
French-speaking area.

With 45 employees Tijd Nederland B.V. and its subsidiaries generated
turnover of around EUR 6.7 million in financial 2007. With the joint
purchase of data it will be possible to realise significant synergy effects
in the future.
