Danske Bank raises lending rates


The funding costs of the financial industry, including the Danske Bank Group,

increased in 2007, and this trend continues in 2008.

Consequently, Danske Bank Denmark will raise its lending rates for variable-rate

loans by 0.25 of a percentage point with effect from February 29, 2008. The

increase will not apply to the products 24/7, 24/7 Ung, Danske Prioritet and
Danske Prioritet Plus.                                                      

The Group still expects its net profit for 2008 to be 0-7% higher than in 2007  
as announced at January 31.
