The Annual General Meeting of KONE Oyj decided on February 25, 2008, on a stock
split. Each old share will be replaced by two new shares.
The split adjustment of OMX Helsinki Benchmark index will double the amount of
KONE Oyj (KNEBV, FI0009013403) shares used in index calculation. The new amount
of shares will be 218 349 144. Adjustment will be effective on February 26,
2008 in accordance to the “Rules for the Construction and Maintenance of the
NOREX Exchanges´ All-Shares, Sector and Benchmark Indicies”, rule 5.5.
