Option release: Adjustment of OMXH25 Index due to an extraordinary dividend in Wärtsilä Oyj (25/08)

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Wärtsilä Oyj (Wärtsilä) today approved the Boards proposal of an extraordinary dividend of EUR 2.00. Wärtsilä (FI0009003727) will be adjusted in OMXH25 index effective tomorrow, March 20, by subtraction of EUR 2.00 from today’s closing price in Wärtsilä. The adjustment is made according to rule 8.8 in the “Index description of OMXH25 Stock Index”.

The AGM also decided to combine the company’s two share series into one. The number of shares used in the OMXH25 index will remain the same until the next quarterly review.
