Prosci Research Releases New Change Management Certification Course

LOVELAND, Colo., March 19, 2008 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Prosci Research released their new three-day Change Management Certification course in February 2008. This course incorporates the latest research findings from 426 companies on effective change management as well as a brand new section for working with managers and supervisors during change.

For the course, participants bring a real project from their organization and apply Prosci's change management tools and methodology. During the three-day certification participants will: create, customize and scale a change management strategy for their project; utilize best practices research from over 1,600 organizations world-wide; learn to use the ADKAR Model to help managers and supervisors effectively manage the people side of change; and be able to "hit the ground running" with a change management plan upon returning to work.

"Bringing a real-time project to the course provides a greater level of hands-on education for our participants. Rather than working on a made-up problem, participants are dealing with the problems in their corporation today and taking back solutions," said Adrienne Boyd, COO of Prosci Research.

Prosci's Change Management Certification Program is designed for employees that are responsible for managing change on a specific project or building change management competency within their organization. This includes project managers, project team members, HR leaders, OD leaders, change management team members, sponsors of change, consultants and trainers. At the end of the program, participants are certified in Prosci's Change Management Methodology and are able to lead their organizations through both incremental and radical changes. The program also earns participants Continuing Education Credits, PDUs from the Project Management Institute and recertification credits from the Human Resources Certification Institute.

"Change management has emerged over the last decade from a fuzzy concept to a concrete discipline," said Jeff Hiatt, president of Prosci Research. "Our research-based methodology provides tangible, specific actions project teams can take to improve business results and financial performance."

Three-day certification courses are held in two different arenas -- "On-site Sessions" that are held at a specific company for that company's employees, and "Public Sessions" that are hosted at coast-to-coast venues in the United States, drawing an international crowd. The mixture of people, processes and experiences provides a rich, one-of-a-kind learning experience.
