Photo Release -- Northrop Grumman Names Terri Zinkiewicz Vice President, Sector Controller for Its Space Technology Sector


REDONDO BEACH, Calif., March 27, 2008 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) has appointed Terri Zinkiewicz vice president and sector controller in recognition of the position's expanding role as the company implements the previously announced realignment of the reporting of its missiles business from the Mission Systems sector to the Space Technology sector here.

The missiles business includes the inter-continental ballistic missile (ICBM) Prime Integration program, the Kinetic Energy Interceptors program and the Missile Engineering Center, and employs approximately 750 people with operations in Utah, Alabama, Virginia and California. The realignment is effective July 1.

Zinkiewicz has more than 20 years' experience with the company in financial and accounting positions. In her expanded role, she is responsible for financial reporting, forecasting and analysis; cost settlements, accounting policy and compliance, general accounting; project finance; asset management, indirect expense rate management; and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.

During her extensive career with the company, Zinkiewicz has held a series of positions with increasing responsibilities. Since 2005, she has been Northrop Grumman Space Technology's controller, and previously served as director of program systems, planning and control; director of business management; and director of finance and business.

She is a Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Management Accountant, a Certified Financial Manager, and a Certified Professional Contracts Manager. Currently, Zinkiewicz is a member of the Institute of Management Accountants' board of directors and chair of its Foundation for Applied Research. Zinkiewicz earned a master in business administration from the University of Illinois, where she earned bachelor's and master's degrees in music education.
