SANTA BARBARA, CA--(Marketwire - April 7, 2008) - Vitamin Angels has appointed Anthony
Zolezzi to their board.
Zolezzi has been involved on a volunteer basis with Vitamin Angels for the
past three years and has been a vital part of their Celebration of Angels
fundraisers at Expo East. He has helped Vitamin Angels raise millions of

responsible for the distribution of vitamin A supplements to 5.5 million
children in need around the world.
Zolezzi is the immediate past chairman of the board for The Organic Center
for Education and Promotion. As an eco-entrepreneur, Zolezzi specializes in
encouraging sustainable business practices from the virtuous circle to
reducing, recycling and reusing. His work has resulted in more than 25
entrepreneurial product developments designed to add value to human and
animal nutrition, as well as people and the planet's wellbeing. He has
worked with organizations ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies
including Nestlé, The Prince of Wales Duchy Originals, Bumble Bee Seafood,
Horizon Organic Dairy, Wild Oats Markets, Viacom and Paramount Pictures.
In addition, Zolezzi has taken social trends and turned them into food
trends such as his creation of Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. Restaurants based on
the award-winning film "Forrest Gump" starring Tom Hanks. He also
developed Café Nervosa Coffee based off NBC's hit sitcom, "Frasier."
Zolezzi is author of four books including his most recent, "Do Something"
