The DIRECTV Group, Inc. to Join the NASDAQ-100 Index Beginning April 30, 2008


NEW YORK, April 22, 2008 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- The DIRECTV Group, Inc. (Nasdaq:DTV) of El Segundo, California, will become a component of the NASDAQ-100 Index(r) (Nasdaq:NDX) and the NASDAQ-100 Equal Weighted Index (Nasdaq:NDXE) prior to market open on Wednesday, April 30, 2008. The DIRECTV Group, Inc. will replace BEA Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq:BEAS).
