EWE Aktiengesellschaft: Selection Procedure for the Formation of a
Strategic Cooperation
Oldenburg, Germany, April 24, 2008 EWE Aktiengesellschaft and its
municipal owners are currently conducting a selection procedure with the
aim of entering into a strategic cooperation with an industrial investor.
It is intended to offer the investor a participation of 26 % in EWE
Aktiengesellschaft. EWE Aktiengesellschaft has received several indicative
offers. Based on these indicative offers, the board of directors decided,
in accordance with the municipal owners, to enter into concrete contract
negotiations.
