What Secrets Lie Beyond? -- Suspense Disturbs a Tranquil Rural Town in New Novel

NUNNELLY, Tenn., April 26, 2008 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Small towns with wide and sunny fields of corn and other crops are supposed to be idyllic places. They are far from the maddening crowd of urban living and life can be lived in a slow and peaceful pace. But, in some deceptively tranquil towns, there may be something disturbing waiting for the unwary.

Prepare to have a suspenseful reading experience with Jo Totty's Secrets at the End of Whispers Lane. The story starts when the Barton family bought the old Brown farm. They had no idea what came with the place and strange things began to happen right from the start. Things began to disappear and at night, strange noises were heard. In the back yard, there was a stone cottage where the door was padlocked and the windows all boarded up. What did the strange farmhand know about the cottage that terrified him so much? What secrets did the old house hold?

Intriguing and rich in detail, Totty masterfully crafts a novel that will have readers hooked from the very first page. She carefully spins her tale and releases the suspense in exquisite doses -- until finally delivering the shocking secret in the end. This novel is truly an entertaining read.
