RALEIGH, N.C., April 28, 2008 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- The Board of Directors of First Citizens BancShares Inc. (Nasdaq:FCNCA) today declared a quarterly dividend of 27.5 cents per share on the Class A and Class B common stock. The dividend is payable July 8, 2008, to shareholders of record June 16, 2008.
