What: The winners of the CFA Institute 2nd Annual Global Investment Research Challenge will preside over the closing bell. The Challenge is a competition among students from the world's top business schools, in which university teams are mentored by industry professionals in writing an equity research report on a publicly traded company. This annual educational initiative is designed to promote best practices in equity research among the next generation of analysts through hands-on mentoring and intensive training in company analysis and presentation skills. This year, CFA Institute member societies held local competitions with more than 300 students from over 80 universities worldwide.
