               Completion of Global Solutions Limited Acquisition               

G4S, the international security solutions group, is pleased to announce that,   
further to the announcements it made on 18 December 2007 and 2 May 2008* and    
following receipt of the necessary competition clearances, it has today         
completed its acquisition of Global Solutions Limited.                          

Nick Buckles, CEO of G4S plc, said “we are delighted that the transaction has   
now completed and we welcome the customers and staff of GSL to the group.”      


* Except as disclosed above there has been no significant change affecting any  
matter contained in the earlier notifications and no other significant new      
matter has arisen which would have been required to be mentioned in those       
earlier notifications if it had arisen at the time of their preparation.
