Hedging of Intrum Justitia's performance-based share program for 2008 through
purchase of own shares 

Intrum Justitia AB hereby reports that the company as of 10 June 2008, in
accordance with a board resolution on 14 May 2008, has repurchased 250,000 own
shares at an average price of SEK 102.49 per share in order to hedge the
performance-based share program for 2008 approved by the annual general meeting.


The total number of shares in Intrum Justitia amount to 79,131,451. Accordingly,
the number of repurchased shares corresponds to approximately 0.32 per cent of
the number of shares and votes in the company. 

The authorization from the annual general meeting on 10 April 2008 encompasses
acquisition and sale of not more than 400,000 shares, hence the board of
directors may resolve to acquire and sell another 150,000 shares until the next
annual general meeting.
