In Q1, the total market for Mobile Wireless equipment declined 19 percent
sequentially but was up over 13 percent compared to Q1 2007. As a
percentage of the total, the market by technology broke down as follows:
cdma (18.6%), GSM (58.4%), and UMTS (18.8%).

The market for Mobile Softswitch decreased nine percent in the quarter to
$2.2 billion but was up nearly 44 percent relative to Q1 2007. Mobile VoIP
Media Gateway sales jumped 24 percent in the quarter and climbed 22 percent
year over year.

Additionally, it is important to mention the developing Femto Cell market.
In 2008, Synergy believes growth will be stifled due to the lack of a
standard, however once the 3GPP Femto Cell standard is ratified, Synergy is
forecasting Femto Cell sales to accelerate to address pent up demand in the
first half of 2009.
