WHAT: Canyon Acres Children and Family Services is hosting the
grand opening of the Erin J. Lastinger Children's Garden
in Memory of A. Gary Anderson. The garden marks the
successful completion of Canyon Acres' 25th anniversary
campaign, which raised more than $4 million. Campaign
funds will provide support to Canyon Acres' core
programs, assist with capital improvements, and allow for
programmatic growth that makes it possible to serve more
children in the years to come.
The garden was designed to stimulate healing for the
children of Canyon Acres and provide them with a space
that inspires joy and laughter. A ribbon cutting ceremony
will begin the festivities, which will include dedication
of the Wall of Thanks and a hors d'oeuvre reception.
Valet parking will be provided to guests.
