The turnover (including VAT) of the leader of retail apparel market in Lithuania and the Baltic States Apranga Group has made LTL 37.0 million (EUR 10.7 million) in June 2008, or 21,5% more than in June 2007. The retail turnover (including VAT) of Apranga Group has made LTL 233.6 million (EUR 67.7 million) in January through June 2008 and has increased by 27.6% comparing to corresponding period of 2007. In January through June 2008 the retail turnover of Apranga Group in Lithuania has increased by 27.6% year-on-year, in Latvia 29.4%, in Estonia 22.9%, what determined the equal growth rates in both Lithuanian and foreign markets. Apranga Group has opened 5 new stores in 2008 with general area of almost 2 thousand sq. m. Currently Apranga Group operates a chain of 88 stores (59 in Lithuania, 24 in Latvia, and 5 in Estonia).
