Avaya Appoints Thomas Manley as Chief Financial Officer
BASKING RIDGE, NJ--(Marketwire - July 7, 2008) - Avaya Inc. today announced that Thomas
Manley has joined the company as Chief Financial Officer.
Manley comes to Avaya from Cognos, an IBM company, where he was Chief
Financial Officer and senior vice president, Administration. In this role,
he was responsible for the company's finance, information technology, and
human resources organizations.
Before joining Cognos, Manley held increasingly responsible general
management and finance positions with Nortel Networks, including chief
financial officer, High Performance Optical Component Solutions; senior
vice president, finance, Service Provider and e-Business; and vice
president, finance, Enterprise Systems.
