9 July 2008 – OnVista AG (DE0005461602) today announced its preliminary
figures for the first half of 2008. For a better understanding, reporting
is for the first time concentrated on the business development of the
continued business divisions under IFRS, namely OnVista.de and Tradingbird.
OnVista.de achieved sales in the amount of EUR 5.49 mill. after EUR 6.29
mill. in the comparable period of 2007. Consequently, the company showed a
good resilience in what is still a difficult market environment.

EBIT from continued business divisions continued to be positive at EUR 1.52
mill. but fell below the previous year’s figure of EUR 2.60 mill., mainly
due to the decline in sales. The pre-tax income reached EUR 1.90 mill.
(prev. year: EUR 2.91 mill.), while after deduction of taxes, the company
recorded a net income of EUR 1.25 mill. (prev. year: EUR 1.79 mill.).

In addition, the profit after tax contribution from the discontinued
business divisions Ad2Net, Onmeda, Ligatus and Namendo amounts to EUR -0.10
mill. As a result of the sale of Ad2Net and Onmeda, an additional loss
after tax of EUR -1.14 mill. arose in the first half of 2008, which
includes tax expenditure in the amount EUR 1.47 mill. The total selling
price from both sales amounted to approximately EUR 8 mill. All in all, the
group net income totals EUR 0.01 mill. (prev. year: EUR 1.94 mill.).
