Kenexa Hires Human Resources Thought Leader to Direct Product Strategy

Ron Hanscome Provides Unparalleled Expertise in Human Capital Management Technology


WAYNE, PA--(Marketwire - July 10, 2008) - Kenexa® (NASDAQ: KNXA), a global provider of talent management and retention solutions, today announced that industry veteran Ron Hanscome has joined the company as the vice president of Product Strategy.

In this role, Hanscome will be responsible for product strategy and product marketing across Kenexa's entire suite of products and solutions. In addition, he will manage all Kenexa industry analyst relations and partnerships.

For more than 20 years, Hanscome has developed a solid reputation in the Human Capital Management (HCM) software and services industries, serving as a practitioner, consultant, software executive and industry analyst. Most recently, he served as vice president of HCM technology strategy practice for HRchitect. Prior to HRchitect, he was Oracle's vice president of HCM applications marketing and oversaw all three Oracle HCM product lines.

Before Oracle, he was a senior program director with the industry analyst firm, META Group, where he authored multiple pieces of HR-related research and wrote extensively about Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). His background also includes nine years as an HRMS practitioner with United HealthGroup and Medtronic, three years as a consultant with Watson Wyatt and as an independent consultant, and six years as a vendor software executive with Ceridian Employer Services and Lawson Software.
