SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - July 28, 2008) - InsideView today announced that Greg
Brush, an experienced leader in multi-channel enterprise sales, has joined
the company as vice president of sales. In his new role, Greg will help to
increase sales of InsideView's unique on-demand business search and
intelligence applications as the company expands into new markets.
Brush brings close to 20 years of enterprise software sales experience,
having led the expansion at high-growth companies of all sizes. Prior to
joining InsideView, Brush served as vice president of sales at Movaris,
where he created significant sales momentum and growth that contributed to
the company's acquisition by Trintech. Before Movaris, he was director of
sales at Hyperion Solutions (now Oracle) in both national and strategic
regional roles, and he served in various sales executive and management
positions at Siebel Systems. Greg has also held senior sales positions with
Pure Software, where he was recognized as a key contributor in the rapid
revenue growth that led to a successful IPO in 1995 and subsequent
acquisition by Rational Software (now IBM). He began his career with Oracle
Corporation, where he was consistently recognized as a top revenue
contributor.
"We are extremely pleased to welcome Greg to the InsideView executive team
as we look to take advantage of the strong interest in our business search
and intelligence offerings," said Umberto Milletti, CEO and cofounder of
InsideView. "Greg's extensive experience will contribute greatly to the
momentum behind InsideView as we enter into new customer segments. Greg's a
proven sales expert and brings a strong strategic sales acumen that will
help take InsideView to the next level."
Brush's appointment comes at a time of strong customer momentum for
InsideView. More than 100 customers have embraced the company's flagship
sales intelligence application, SalesView, with 30 customers added during
the last quarter. SalesView aggregates real-time information from across
the social Web and combines it with enterprise customer data to provide the
most up-to-date, actionable intelligence. Brush will lead the overall sales
efforts for SalesView as well as spearhead market introductions of
forthcoming InsideView products.
"As a graduate of some of the software industry's most demanding sales
operations, I recognize firsthand how the technology that InsideView brings
to the table can help salespeople and entire sales organizations to be more
efficient and ultimately close more deals," said Brush. "InsideView has a
massive opportunity to become an ingrained part of the day-to-day sales
processes at companies across the globe. I am thrilled to be joining the
InsideView team at this exciting time and build on the traction and strong
initial market reception."
