Ambius University Rolls Out Welcome Wagon for New Colleagues

New Colleague Engagement Program Launches Internationally

BUFFALO GROVE, IL--(Marketwire - July 30, 2008) - Committed to building knowledge and identifying excellence, Ambius, www.ambius.com, a global company dedicated to improving the interior landscape of businesses through office plants, workplace designs, framed wall art decorating, holiday decor and sensory branding, has launched Ambius University, a human resources program that provides tools and support for all colleagues for a consistent service and brand experience. Built on the four pillars of Inspire, Connect, Engage and Grow, Ambius University empowers the Ambius businesses around the world to draw on the resources of the whole company to provide high quality training while uniting the company to promote its value and vision to its international customer base.

Ambius University's first program to be launched in the U.S. and internationally is the New Colleague Engagement program. "The New Colleague Engagement program ensures that all new colleagues to Ambius, wherever they are and whatever they do, experience a warm welcome and introduction to our company that is professional, consistent and fun," said Michelle Rodwell, International Branding & Marketing Director for Ambius who created Ambius University in concert with Jeff Mariola, the company's Managing Director.

Upon joining Ambius, new colleagues receive a branded Ambius University welcome bag that touches all of the senses and reflects Ambius sensibilities as the premiere provider of enhancing the quality of the work experience by engaging all five senses. Highlights of the welcome bag include a personalized welcome letter from the Branch Manager, a scented candle that features the Ambius lemongrass signature scent, training workshop materials and a check-list of what to expect during the first few weeks.

"The program revolves around a series of experiences, starting as soon as someone accepts a job offer from Ambius," said Michelle Maneechote, Human Resources Coordinator, Ambius North America. "Receiving this welcome package from Ambius works to reinforce the decision of a colleague to join the company from Day 1."

"The welcome kit gave off an inviting feeling," said Kelly Vanderstappen, Sales and Design Consultant for Ambius in the Milwaukee region who joined the company earlier this year. "It confirmed to me that it was a good decision to join Ambius. It showed me that the team was going out of their way to give the best service and enhance the environment and relationships with their customers." Leonides Isabel Hernandez-Lopez, a new Service Technician for Ambius in Fort Lauderdale, added that "it shows the company cares for us. I have never received anything like this when joining a new company. I believe this will be a good company to work for."

Ambius will be rolling out many other facets of Ambius University, across North America and internationally, over the next year. Programs in development include the Service Experience Workshops and the Customer Engagement and Colleague Exchange programs. The Colleague Exchange program offers Ambius colleagues the opportunity to experience life and work in a completely new city or country. Colleagues will live and work alongside their counterparts in another branch, share experiences and ideas, spread best practice and reinforce the company's unified brand and values. The Service Experience workshops will be half-day workshops where students translate the Ambius brand values into everyday behaviors.

The Ambius University newsletter is issued quarterly and highlights Ambius University activities including a feature spotlight on the Ambius Ambassador, a colleague who personifies the vision and values of Ambius.
