SPi Strengthens Its Management Team With Key CTO Appointment for Its Publishing Business


WASHINGTON, DC--(Marketwire - August 4, 2008) - SPi, a leading knowledge process and customer interaction solutions provider, today announced the appointment of Dominic Prakash as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for its publishing business unit.

Mr. Prakash is a highly regarded technology specialist in the SSTM (Scholarly, Scientific, Technical and Medical) publishing industry. He has over 17 years of technology management experience which includes defining technology, setting strategy, providing direction and analyzing the competitive landscape, as well as designing architecture and framework development methodologies and developing technology standards. Mr. Prakash also has deep domain expertise in complex publishing technologies, web technologies, infrastructure, operations and production.

As CTO, Mr. Prakash will be responsible for providing strategic and operational direction in the application and deployment of publishing technologies, developing technology best practices and driving automation initiatives within the publishing group.
