Fionia Bank A/S has established an EMTN programme


Fionia Bank A/S has on 8 August 2008 signed a Euro Medium Term Notes programme
(EMTN programme). The purpose of EMTN programme is to get access to more
sources of liquidity in the international capital markets. The establishment is
extensions of that Fionia Bank in January 2008 were rated by Moody's. 

The EMTN programme is organised by Barclays Capital, and dealers on the
programme will be Barclays Capital, Danske Bank, HSH Nordbank AG, Credit
Suisse, JP Morgan and Fionia Bank. 

The programme provides Fionia Bank to issue notes for up to 2 Billion EUR. The
timing of the first issue has not been determined yet. 

The EMTN programme is listed on the London Stock Exchange.
