HLS Promotes From Within and Hires Fresh Talent

PARSIPPANY, NJ--(Marketwire - August 21, 2008) - HLS, the founding CommonHealth medical-education unit, today announced seven promotions and one new hire.

Promotions

Michael Melucci, PhD, has advanced from vice president, account director to senior vice president, account group supervisor. Dr. Melucci will manage strategy and business development for his designated clients and supervise his account team. Dr. Melucci has been an HLS employee for twelve years.

Tara Ruest, PhD, has been elevated from medical director to senior medical director. Dr. Ruest will be responsible for providing medical expertise to clients and directing the development of medical content for live meetings and publications. Dr. Ruest has been at HLS for more than one year.

Jennifer Delaney, PhD, has been promoted from director, production and distribution to senior director, production and distribution. Dr. Delaney will be responsible for day-to-day management of all production and distribution initiatives for HLS and two other CommonHealth units: ProCom and Solara. Dr. Delaney has been employed with HLS for ten years.

Jennifer Steeber, PhD, has advanced from associate medical director to medical director. Dr. Steeber will guide the development of medical content and provide medical expertise and support to her assigned clients. Dr. Steeber has been an HLS employee for six years.

Timothy Reilly has been elevated from senior graphic designer to senior creative designer. In his new post, Mr. Reilly will lead all creative processes from concepting to completion on his assigned accounts. Mr. Reilly has worked at HLS for three years.

Erik Beatty has advanced from senior project coordinator to associate publications manager. In his new role, Mr. Beatty will manage the day-to-day workflow for all types of manuscripts. Additionally, Erick will serve as the liaison between clients and HLS team members. Mr. Beatty has been at HLS for one year.

Sharon Willis has been elevated from publications director to associate program director, publications. Ms. Willis will be responsible for managing the development and execution of all publications materials for her assigned projects. Ms. Willis has been with HLS for one year.

New Hire

Michael Pucci joins HLS as a medical director. In this position, Mr. Pucci will be responsible for providing medical expertise to clients and overseeing the development of medical content for publications. Previously, Mr. Pucci was employed as a scientific supervisor at Ogilvy Healthworld, a healthcare communications group and WPP sister company of CommonHealth located in New York City.
