Companies Building HPC Test Tracks for Customers and Vendors Can Test Drive Their Applications On the Latest Processor, Networking and Storage Technologies

(Nasdaq:QLGC), a leading supplier of high performance network infrastructure solutions, today announced that Intel is sponsoring the QLogic(r) NETtrack(tm) Developer Center with its latest PCIe2 server technologies for several high performance computing (HPC) clusters, the largest of which features 32 nodes and 128 cores. Intel is sponsoring HPC "test tracks" at the QLogic NETtrack Developer Center so that customers and vendors can "test drive" their applications with new quad-core Intel(r) Xeon(r) processors, networking and storage technology in support for the Intel(r) Cluster Ready program and the Intel(r) Enabled Server Acceleration Alliance (Intel(r) ESAA).
