ESA Foundation Selects Web Wise Kids as Recipient of $300,000 Grant

SANTA ANA, Calif., Oct. 1, 2008 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Web Wise Kids today announced that it is among nine diverse organizations receiving $1 million in grants from the ESA Foundation, The Entertainment Software Association's charitable arm.

This donation will enable Web Wise Kids to further its mission to provide Internet Safety Programs across the USA and to provide an entire state wide PTA with the Wired With Wisdom program for parents.

"We are thrilled with the leadership and generosity demonstrated by the ESA Foundation. Web Wise Kids has reached over 5 million kids with Internet Safety Programs across the U.S. to date -- an accomplishment that could not have been achieved without the kind and consistent support of ESA and other community oriented organizations that care about America's children the way ESA has proven it does. With the proliferation of new mobile and social technologies for communication, our work has only just begun. Working together with ESA, we are confident that we will continue to excel in our mission to protect and educate youth worldwide," said Judi Westberg Warren, President of Web Wise Kids.
