Sydbank's Group Executive Management

Torben A. Nielsen, Deputy Group Chief Executive, has handed in his notice as
Deputy Group Chief Executive of Sydbank effective end-September 2008 to take up
the position of Managing Director of BankInvest. 

In the coming period the Board of Directors of Sydbank will consider the
organisation as well as staffing of the Group Executive Management of the Bank.
