Red Hawk Casino Names Anthony V. DiSalvatore Vice President of Security and Transportation


PLACERVILLE, CA--(Marketwire - October 9, 2008) - Red Hawk Casino announced today that Anthony DiSalvatore has been named Vice President of Security and Transportation. Mr. DiSalvatore has more than 23 years of experience in the security industry and is responsible for the management and operation of Red Hawk Casino's security and transportation departments.

Mr. DiSalvatore comes to Red Hawk Casino from The Isle Casino & Racing at Pompano Park in Pompano, Fla., where he served as director of security. He was responsible for the safety of patrons and employees at the 223-acre property, which includes 140,000 square feet of gaming space and a racetrack. He established relationships with key law enforcement agencies, hired the security staff and established operating procedures that contributed to the successful opening of the property.

Prior to joining The Isle Casino, Mr. DiSalvatore worked as the director of security and transportation for the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Fla. He was responsible for the security of the property's 130,000 square feet of gaming space, a 500 room hotel, valet department, property and guest transportation fleet, Seminole Paradise Entertainment Complex, and Hard Rock Live Arena.

Previously, Mr. DiSalvatore also served as director of loss prevention for several Marriott International properties, including: New York Marriott East Side in New York City, N.Y.; The Ritz-Carlton Lodge, Reynolds Plantation in Greensboro, Ga.; and the Marriott Seaview Resort in Absecon, N.J.

He also worked at various Sun International properties, serving as a security supervisor and investigator for Resorts Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, N.J. and a security supervisor for Mohegan Sun Casino in Uncasville, Conn.

Prior to working in the hospitality industry, Mr. DiSalvatore served as a state trooper for the New Jersey State Police and as a police officer for the Clementon Police Department in Clementon, N.J.

Mr. DiSalvatore holds a Master of Arts in Criminal Justice from Rutgers University in Newark, N.J. and a Master of Arts in Education from Seton Hall University in South Orange, N.J. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Law and Justice from Glassboro State College in Glassboro, N.J., and is a Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and a Certified Lodging Security Director (CLSD).
